When we set out to design the ultimate stand for the Apple iPad, our objective was to not only make it as skinny and lightweight as possible, but also design it to look as clean, simple and unobtrusive as possible. Essentially, we designed it to look like it was an original part of the iPad. This is why it's made from high-quality anodized aluminum to perfectly match the back of the iPad. At just over a 1/4 inch thick, the BulletTrain MagicStand for iPad is a true minimalist masterpiece!!! It's no accident that the MagicStand looks way more consistent with Apple's minimalist design language than any other iPad accessory, cover, case or stand. We designed it that way!

Case Dismissed

Accessory manufactures would have you believe you need a case to protect your iPad, but from what? We believe the BulletTrain MagicStand for iPad gives you the most beautiful case for the iPad, which is no case. Why, no case? Because the iPad is so good looking by itself, why cover it up? Also, the iPad's Aluminum case back is quite durable.

Covering that beautiful iPad aluminum case with silicon, plastic or leather really achieves nothing, and to a large extent, is like wearing a light windbreaker over a heavy-duty parka, useless ornamentation that just gets in the way. We believe the best designs are those that exercise restraint.
